This policy explains how HomeAuction ("we") handles your information across our website and apps.
Account details you provide (name, email, phone, and optional photo, city/ZIP), homes you save and notes you add, and basic usage/device data. Your profile is shared across our family of apps so you have one consistent account.
Identity & funds verification (optional). To become a verified buyer, you may choose to upload a government-issued photo ID and a proof-of-funds document (such as a bank statement or pre-approval letter). We collect these solely to verify your identity and purchasing ability so you can submit offers and authorize bids. These documents are treated as sensitive, stored privately, encrypted, and access-controlled to authorized reviewers only — we never sell them or use them for advertising. You can request their deletion at any time.
To operate the Service — sign you in, save and sync your homes and worksheets, verify buyers, send the daily updates you opt into on saved homes, and provide brokerage services. We do not sell your personal information.
With service providers that power the Service (hosting, database, email, payments) under confidentiality obligations; with the licensed brokerage for transactions you initiate; and as required by law. Verification documents are stored privately and access-controlled.
You can edit your profile, manage notification preferences, and permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and saved data.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no system is perfectly secure. Never enter passwords or financial account numbers except in official sign-in and payment flows.
